Hearing Aids for the Elderly
In partnership with the Lions Hearing Foundation the Alpine Lions Club collects used hearing aids for refurbishing and distribution. The donated hearing aids are sanitized and fitted to individuals for less than $200.00. The Alpine Lions has helped over 375 people in the East San Diego County receive the hearing aids they need.
Emergency Disaster Aid
The Lions Club provides emergency services to our communities. During the recent wild fires, our members helped feed and comfort the families that lost their homes. We also delivered meals and pillows to the fire fighters base camps and operated a horse rescue camp.
